Brian Wilson

Brian Wilson is currently the Director of Workforce Development at West Lothian College working hard to help individuals and companies develop their skills and knowledge to improve the economic and social structure of West Lothian.
In addition Brian is the Vice Chair person of West Lothian Chamber of Commerce and the Director of Logy Gymnastics, a trampoline coach, dedicated to improving the opportunities for West Lothian youngsters.

Fiona Hyslop MSP

Fiona Hyslop MSP is the Vice Chair-Person for River Kids. As well as a regional MSP for the Lothians, Fiona is also Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning and attends as many meetings as she can.
Fiona has been involved with River Kids since the first meeting on October 31st 2005
Fiona lives in Linlithgow, West Lothian with her husband and three children and so this charity is very close to her heart. Fiona’s ability to bring the charity into the public eye has made a significant contribution to the charity over the years and helped to promote the charity and move it forward.

Tom has been involved with River Kids for the last 3 years
"Being born and brought up in West Lothian and still living here l have a strong interest in the Community and the well being of its residents. I joined River Kids to help make a difference to the lives of children in this region and remain passionate about doing so".
Wendy Simpson

My name is Wendy Simpson and I am the charity Coordinator for River Kids.
I am married and have two children; they are 19 and 21 so will not thank me for calling them children!
I have been involved with fund raising for 15 years, first at my children’s schools and then with Children 1st in Edinburgh.
I have been involved in various events with Children 1st and helped with Gardening Scotland when Children 1st was the chosen charity. I have lived in West Lothian for 24 years and feel it is home. I set up River Kids with Donny Hughes, and I am one of the original trustees.
